Reber Antics

It is just another day in the Reber house!

Captain Paint Roller was on duty in the baby’s room, sharp shooting the crevices and making all things purple (and I must say being quit handsome while he was at it). But what’s more attractive than your man sweaty and covered in paint? Wow the fumes must be getting to me!

Eliza Mae was definitely not dressing up in my clothes – as you can see here! Lol she’s too cute for her own good.

Family and Friends...and the Lord

This post is for all the family and friends that have been fasting and praying for us this week. To say the least, the last few days have been tough. The diagnosis was like a punch in the spiritual gut. We have felt the power of your faith calming our fears and lifting us up.

Today's Sunday meetings touched my heart. I believe, mainly, because my heart was open, softened by trial and the Spirit. "I shall not be ashamed of the Gospel" was the topic of the day. When a source of strength, love, and light shines in our lives, there is NO reason to not share it. In Sunday school, the teacher shared a lesson of life lessons. God knows us perfectly, and He is the greatest teacher of spiritual lessons. Terah and I have been prepared for this lesson in our lives. Patience, Trust, and Faith in the Lord.

We ARE truly blessed to have eachother, Eliza, our home, my employment, our extended families, our wonderful friends, the truly good people of our church, to live in a free country...

All we have-we owe to the Lord.

Thanks again for your continued care, love, prayers, and support. I pray for each of you to be blessed for your efforts.

Keep on keepin on!

Sunny Day

Today is such a nice day!
Eliza and i had our lunch outside and i watched her jump on the tramp.
For some reason it isn't as fun unless mom is watching - go figure.

Physical Therapy- A Great Career

Check this out. I just found this article that says PT is a great career.

New Year's Resolutions

This time of year, usually brings about a tidal wave of self improvement.  So, what makes the difference between successful resolutions and the failures?

1.  Reachabilitiness!  Set a goal which is reasonable.  Going from zero workouts per week to 2hr sessions 6 days a week is not resonable.  I am going for twice a week.  We shall see how it turns out.

2.  Motivization!  Know your priorities and set goals that help you progress in those areas.  Being able to juggle 5 loaded diapers would not help me in school at all.

3.  Definition!  I am not talking about my abs.  Define and write down your goals in a specific manner.  Terah has taken the liberty to write down ours and post them in visible spots as reminders.

Happy New Year! and good luck with your aspirations for this year.

2008 Wrap up

2008 was very exciting for the Air Force Rebers.  Rett was accepted into the Army-Baylor Doctor of Physical Therapy program in San Antonio, TX.  Before making the tremendously long drive from Montana to Texas, we found out that a new addition would be coming to our family.  We expect a baby girl in the middle of April-Just in time for Spring.  We also bought a nice home here in San Antonio.  What an experience!

2009 looks promising and very busy.  Have a Happy New Year!
